  • I also tried my design on retail products through my Redbubble store. Redbubble is a print on demand company, where you can upload your design and it can be printed on many different products, here are several of them:
Spiral bound notebook

Drawstring Bag

Throw pillow

Clock

Phone case

Laptop Skin

Women's scoop neck t-shirt

All images copyright to Redbubble.com

I am really pleased with how these turned out and the whole process taught me a lot about how to convert one of my digital drawings into something suitable to use on so many other products. I've done this process before using my acrylic paintings but never anything digital so this was really good.

Text and Image

My own handwriting.

Computer fonts

Traced computer fonts in colours appropriate to their meaning.

I found this bit quite challenging, some words like mad or calm were easier to think of colours but words like slow and small didn't really conjure up any particular colour for me.

Moodboard:

My own freehand words using appropriate media.

I really enjoyed this exercise much more than I thought I would, the typography is really interesting and quite fun to do.
