Idea: Live Facebook concert by Philippa Hanna singer/songwriter.

Feel: It's going to be an intimate acoustic concert from her home, aimed at reaching those feeling low and in need of encouragement and a boost of esteem.
The colours and look is based on Philippa's personality and her love of sparkles and bright happy colours!!
Typeface Research:
I'd like to use a brush script for the font for her name, to show her free flowing personality, confidence and creativity.
Some ideas:
There were lot's of lovely brush script fonts on the website: https://www.dafont.com but some of them were either over confident in look or not very confident. These ones above I felt carried the right emotion in them.
In the end I went for gold foil lettering which I purchased from Etsy. Credit: PeDeDesigns
Colour Visuals:
Background for poster:
I created the background on Canson oil paper using oil paints in the colour scheme I chose. I added gold guilding flakes for added sparkle.
Next stage:
I scanned into the computer my background and I then digitally drew the singers iconic white guitar in a painterly style on my tablet sketching program.
Afterwards, I imported the image into Photoshop and started adding a lot of different layers for the text, and overall feel.
Final Poster:
I'm really pleased with how it turned out, I wasnt sure if I needed the stars but once I put them in it really finished the design off well.
It's eye catching and I feel reflects the personality of the singer and her favourite colours. It is also subtle in colours rather than showy to reflect the audience she is trying to reach.
I have saved the final image in a large format so I can get it printed A3.
